Century Blends LLC has been in the dry mix business since the company’s inception in New York City in 1912. Then known as the Angermeier Company, it was an innovative producer of dry mix bakery products in the New York Metropolitan area.

In 1959, the Angermeier Company moved to Cedar Grove, New Jersey, and formed the Concentrates Company. This new division pioneered the development and production of dehydrated food products and eventually expanded into a full line producer of dry mixes.

A new management team took charge of the company in 1990, renaming the business W&G Flavors and moving it to Baltimore, Maryland. The officers of the company offer over 45 years of senior management experience in the flavor industry, and are very active in both the Institute of Food Technologists (IFT) and the Flavor Extract Manufactuers Association (FEMA).

W&G moved its headquarters to a new, state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Hunt Valley, Maryland in 2003. With over a century of experience to build upon, the company, recently renamed Century Blends, is now poised to continue its leadership role in the food service industry for the 21st century.
